Multiple jets flew over Pyongyang around midnight on Monday, informed sources in the capital told NK News, an indicator that North Korea could hold an expected April 15 military parade at night.

According to one source, jet engines could be heard “clearly” over Pyongyang, although the exact number of aircraft was not immediately discernible.

The presence of jets over the city comes just days before Kim Il Sung’s 110th birthday on April 15. In Oct. 2020, sources in Pyongyang also reported loud sounds during the night just four days before a massive, night-time military parade.
