Seoul official forecasts ‘low possibility’ of North Korean military tension
Unification minister says Pyongyang will closely watch Moon-Biden summit this month before making any moves
South Korea’s minister of unification is holding out hope that North Korea will keep military tensions low in the coming weeks and keep diplomatic doors open.
On Friday, Lee In-young told South Korea’s Christian Broadcasting System (CBS) radio that there is a “low possibility” that North Korea will create military tension ahead of South Korean President Moon Jae-in’s visit to Washington on May 21.
