South Korea boasts ‘world-class’ missiles after North Korean test-fire

President Moon Jae-in reminded the public of Seoul’s missile capabilities, but also stressed the need for more dialogue

South Korean President Moon Jae-in denounced North Korea’s recent ballistic missile launch on Friday, calling it an “undesirable” move and reminding the public of Seoul’s own “world-class” missile capabilities.

Normally known as a hype-man for North Korea diplomacy, Moon took on a hardline tone during a speech on March 26, one day after North Korea test-fired two short-range ballistic missiles towards the East Sea in violation of U.N. Security Council Resolutions.
