North Korea shot South Korean citizen and burned his body, ROK military says

The South Korean military says the victim intended to defect to the North, but evidence is so far slim

North Korea shot and killed a 47-year-old South Korean official and then burned his body, Seoul’s defense ministry confirmed on Thursday, citing military’s intelligence analyses.
