In letter, Kim Jong Un says he wants to meet Moon Jae-in ‘frequently’ in 2019

Kim Jong Un expresses "regret" for failing to visit South Korea before end of 2018

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said in a personal letter to South Korean President Moon Jae-in that he would like to meet "frequently" in 2019, Blue House spokesperson Kim Eui-kyeom said on Sunday.

But the announcement of the two-page letter came as it appeared definitive that Kim Jong Un would fail to visit Seoul before the end of 2018, a commitment Moon previously said Kim had made during September's Pyongyang summit.
