UN Command in contact with North Korea about Travis King: Deputy commander

LTG Andrew Harrison declines to provide more details about talks to secure release of US soldier who crossed into DPRK

The U.N. Command (UNC) has been in contact with North Korea about the American soldier who crossed into the DPRK last week, the UNC’s deputy commander confirmed Monday.

But in remarks at a press conference in Seoul, Lieutenant General Andrew Harrison declined to provide additional details about how North Korea responded and how much progress the UNC has made in securing his release.
