North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in an on-site inspection of the hydroelectric Kumyagang Power Station No. 2 over the weekend expressed regret that power shortages continue to plague some parts of the country, ruling party organ the Rodong Sinmun reported Sunday.
The visit -- coverage of which appeared alongside news of Saturday's short-range ballistic missile test -- saw the DPRK leader praise ongoing construction efforts at the site and local workers for their "revolutionary spirit of self-reliance and fortitude."
