Pompeo to travel to North Korea next month: State Department

Secretary of State also met with DPRK foreign minister on sidelines of UNGA

The U.S. State Department on Wednesday announced that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo had accepted an invitation from North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to travel to the DPRK next month.

North Korean foreign minister Ri Yong Ho delivered the message when he met with Pompeo on Wednesday on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York.
