Give talks a chance: in defense of the Singapore summit
The June 12 meeting achieved much more than initially meets the eye
The widespread scorn on social media and in the mainstream press toward the Kim-Trump summit in Singapore since its conclusion last month has been startling.
As a long-time Asia watcher, I feel it’s important to defend the value of the Singapore summit and ongoing nuclear talks.
