Syrian President intends to visit N. Korea, meet Kim Jong Un: KCNA

In state media report, Bashar Al-Assad reported to have praised long-time ally's "wise leadership"

President of Syria Bashar Al-Assad intends to travel to North Korea and meet with DPRK leader Kim Jong Un, the state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported on Sunday.

In a report on the presenting of diplomatic credentials by recently-appointed DPRK ambassador to Syria Mun Jong Nam, Assad was quoted as having said he will hold a summit with Kim.
