Some observers predict that this week could see the release of Korean-American Kenneth Bae, via the unexpected delivery system of NBA Basketball star Dennis Rodman.

Detained in North Korea since November 2012 for carrying "propaganda materials" and allegedly plotting to overthrow the North Korean government, Bae's detention has caused consternation for both his family and the U.S. government more broadly.
