US strategic bomber joins air drills with ROK in show of force to North Korea

US strategic bomber joins air drills with ROK in show of force to North Korea

U.S. and South Korean forces conducted a joint air exercise with an American B-1B strategic bomber on Friday, in a show of Washington’s commitment to extended deterrence against North Korea, according to Seoul’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS).

South Korean F-15K and KF-16 fighters flew with the bomber over the Yellow Sea and an unspecified area in the central inland region of South Korea, JCS announced in a press release.
