Aaron Arnold becomes new U.S. member of UN’s North Korea sanctions panel

Move follows recent reshuffle at UN panel monitoring North Korea sanctions implementation

The new United States member of the United Nations Panel of Experts (PoE) on DPRK will be Aaron Arnold, a researcher with experience focusing on trade controls for preventing WMD proliferation, it emerged on Sunday.

"I am excited to announce that I have been appointed to the UN Panel of Experts on #DPRK sanctions as the finance and economics expert! Very much looking forward to this challenging and important work," Arnold wrote on Twitter.
