US-ROK forces hold drill on ‘neutralizing’ North Korean attack on border islands

Large-scale maritime drill in Yellow Sea is ‘essential’ to address emerging threats, expert says

The large-scale maritime drill off the coast of Taean started on Tuesday and is part of the annual multi-week “Hoguk Exercise” led by the ROK Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), which kicked off earlier this month.
