YouTube terminates channels of prominent North Korean vloggers

Removal comes after South Korea blocked channels of young YouTubers linked to DPRK propaganda apparatus

YouTube has deleted three channels linked to North Korea propaganda activities, NK News has confirmed, days after South Korean authorities blocked those channels domestically.

The DPRK vlog accounts “Sally Parks [Song A Channel]” and “Olivia Natasha- YuMi Space DPRK daily” were both inaccessible on Tuesday, with a message specifying that YouTube has terminated both channels. A third channel “New DPRK,” which featured videos showcasing daily life in North Korea, was also no longer available.
