North Korea reveals first mural of Kim Jong Un in personality cult upgrade

Mosaic mural at new Ryonpho Greenhouse Farm is only known artistic depiction of current leader to be installed publicly

North Korea has unveiled an artistic depiction of leader Kim Jong Un in one of the country’s distinct “mosaic murals” for the first time, NK News analysis of new state media images released Tuesday shows, in what appears to mark a major shift in his cult of personality. 

A mosaic mural installed at the new Ryonpho Greenhouse Farm appears to feature a scene of Kim Jong Un shoveling dirt at the farm’s groundbreaking ceremony in February this year.
