Kim Jong Un says he will ‘never give up’ nuclear weapons, rejects future talks

North Korea reveals new nuclear doctrine that says it may launch nuclear strike in response to ‘non-nuclear’ attacks

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said his country will never again entertain denuclearization talks with foreign powers and will “never give up” nuclear weapons, state media reported Friday.

In a defiant speech at a Supreme People’s Assembly (SPA) meeting in Pyongyang, Kim also dared the U.S. to keep up economic sanctions on his country for “a thousand years.”
