Two Koreas attend multinational CSCAP security forum in Thailand

Participants dispute Yonhap suggestions that Joe Yun could be attending forum

Delegations from the two Koreas are participating in a multilateral Council for Security Cooperation in the Asia Pacific (CSCAP) forum which includes United States participants in Chiang Mai, Thailand this Wednesday and Thursday, information gathered by NK News shows.

Notably, the conference comes after U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said Tuesday that Washington would be open to talks with North Korea "without preconditions" – and simultaneous to a week-long trip to Thailand and Japan by U.S. special representative for North Korea policy Joseph Yun.
