North Korean leader and top male officials call for women to raise kids loyal to regime at national mothers’ meeting

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un summoned thousands of mothers to the capital over the weekend to warn them of a “growing problem” with “anti-socialist” behavior among young people and of the declining national birth rate, according to state media.

Kim emphasized the need to give birth to more children and adhere to government child-raising standards on the opening day of the Fifth National Meeting of Mothers on Sunday.
