North Korea says new military satellite watching White House and Pentagon

State media describes details of US and British aircraft carriers in images reportedly reviewed by Kim Jong Un

North Korea’s new military spy satellite has taken photos of the White House and Pentagon, according to state media on Tuesday, releasing details of activity at a U.S. east coast military base in a report on leader Kim Jong Un’s continued oversight of satellite operations.

The article is the latest in a series of state media reports on targets photographed by the satellite that the DPRK launched last week, in what appears to be a propaganda campaign to demonstrate that the satellite is functional and even intimidate the U.S. and South Korea.
