North Korea has accused the U.S. and South Korea of scheming to eliminate the Kim family government with nuclear weapons, after the allies recently carried out “precision bombing drills” on responding to DPRK threats.

The foreign ministry statement published Sunday came a day before the allies kicked off preliminary drills for the large-scale Freedom Shield exercise next week, deploying strategic bombers and other assets across the peninsula.
