North Korea ‘exaggerated’ about new undersea nuclear drone, Seoul says

DPRK claimed Haeil system can trigger ‘radioactive tsunami’ against US and South Korean forces

The South Korean military dismissed North Korean claims about its newest military capability on Monday, calling state media reports about an undersea nuclear attack drone “exaggerated and manipulated.”

The DPRK’s Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) revealed the “Haeil” drone in a report last Friday, stating that Kim Jong Un personally inspected the equipment and claiming it is capable of generating a “radioactive tsunami” against U.S. and South Korean forces.
