North Korea launches two short-range missiles into East Sea: South Korea

DPRK tests missile unusually late at night compared to other launches in past several years

North Korea launched two short-range ballistic missiles (SRBMs) into the East Sea early on Sunday morning, according to South Korea’s military, the country’s seventh missile test event in the last two weeks.

The DPRK fired the two SRBMs between 1:48 a.m. and 1:58 a.m., Seoul's Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) said, an unusually late test-fire time compared to other launch activity over the last several years.
