North Korea held large-scale events celebrating an anti-American holiday for the first time in five years last month, marking a shift in propaganda strategy after censoring and hiding anti-U.S. content.
Among the most potent images of the North Korean “Month of Anti-U.S. Joint Struggle,” which begins on the June 25 anniversary of the start of the Korean War, are scenes from the 1950 Sinchon Massacre.
