North Korean leader Kim Jong Un watched a successful test-firing of a new type of “tactical guided weapon” to strengthen the country’s “tactical nuclear operation,” state media reported on Sunday, claiming to have achieved another new defense goal outlined early last year.
The Rodong Sinmun did not disclose the date of the test, but following its report, South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) announced it took place on Saturday at around 6 p.m. KST. Images of the missile test suggest it was conducted at Kim Jong Un’s private Majon mansion beach on the
