Second blaze in as many weeks at an inter-Korean facility lasted for about an hour and was visible from South Korea

A fire broke out Thursday at North Korea's Kaesong Industrial Complex (KIC) – the once jointly-run inter-Korean facility where South Korean factories and properties are still present – Seoul’s unification ministry announced.

The fire broke out at a factory around 2 p.m. KST and could be seen from the inter-Korean border, the ministry said in a statement.
