North Koreans attended virtual seminars with outside world: Choson Exchange

Virtual exchanges with the DPRK are entirely feasible, says Singapore-based organization

People in North Korea successfully connected with the outside world through a series of video conference seminars in recent weeks, the Singapore-based non-profit Choson Exchange said on Thursday, amid hopes that similar technology could be used to facilitate international diplomacy with the DPRK in future.

Choson Exchange says it hosted two real-time online video seminars with DPRK-based participants as part of a six-class program. The development follows a similar virtual conference call between North Korea and Russia facilitated by Moscow’s embassy in Pyongyang last week
