As many as 10 thousand “exemplary” party leaders from key factories and sectors across North Korea gathered in Pyongyang on Tuesday for a multi-day conference to boost prospects for the country’s new five-year economic plan, according to state media.
DPRK leader Kim Jong Un reportedly opened the Sixth Conference of Cell Secretaries at the Pyongyang Indoor Stadium with a speech telling participants they should work on “understanding people's minds, feelings and emotions” in order to communicate party decisions and ideology, and work to bond the highest and lowest levels of society “like members of a family” when they return home from the meetings.
