North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and top officials criticized the government’s economic planners for “not guiding their sectors scientifically” at another Politburo meeting on Sunday, according to state media reports on Monday.

The Politburo also discussed plans for the upcoming Eighth Party Congress and surrounding events slated for Jan. 2021. The precise dates of the congress have not been announced.
