Duking it out on stage for the second presidential debate, U.S. President Donald Trump and Democratic Party candidate Joe Biden argued about whether or not the United States should have met with Kim Jong Un in leader-to-leader summits.
“We're not in a war. We have a good relationship ... Having a good relationship with the leaders of other countries is a good thing,” Trump said of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un during the Oct. 22 debate. Biden later responded by saying, “We had a good relationship with Hitler before he, in fact, invaded the rest of Europe.”
