Donald Trump told reporters Friday that if he wins the forthcoming presidential election, the United States would subsequently move to make a deal “very quickly” with North Korea.

His remarks come amid an ongoing impasse in DPRK-U.S. negotiations and after Trump’s early July interest in participating in another summit with Kim Jong Un.
