North Korea appears to be reinstalling loudspeaker facilities used for airing anti-South Korea propaganda along the border, Seoul’s Yonhap News Agency reported this week.
The loudspeakers were previously taken down following the inter-Korean agreement made between the leaders of two Koreas at the 2018 Panmunjom Summit.
“North Korean military reinstalled loudspeaker broadcast equipment in around 20 places along the eastern, western, and central frontline in the demilitarized zone (DMZ),” Yonhap reported, quoting an unnamed government source and providing a photo of one such installation taken on Tuesday morning.
