Russian objectives in North Korea: the hardening view from Washington

Despite taking steps with sanctions, Moscow seen as hurdle to U.S. interests on the Korean peninsula

Last week, as reported in The Hill, a new intelligence bill titled the Damon Paul Nelson and Matthew Young Pollard Intelligence Authorization Act passed in the U.S. House of Representatives.

The bill was first introduced in the Senate by Chair of the Select Intelligence Committee Richard Burr, a Republican, with co-sponsorship from Democrat Mark Warner, Vice Chair of the Senate intelligence committee.
