Opaque group seeking volunteers to help “liberate” North Korea suspends website

Joseon Youth previously recruiting "field agents," with positions open to 16-34 year olds

A human rights campaign to "liberate our siblings" in North Korea – which had been recruiting children and young adults from at least one Seoul-based university – shut down its website between Friday and Saturday, NK News observed.

The JoseonYouth.com website – which bore many similarities to the Cheollima Civil Defense / Free Joseon group recently linked to February's raid of the North Korean embassy in Madrid – had been recruiting 16-34 year olds for a range of roles related to "the beginning of new freedom for the North."
