Adrian Hong visited Tokyo ahead of February DPRK embassy break-in, sources say

Trip was reportedly part of efforts to secure protection for Kim Han Sol

Adrian Hong Chang, the purported leader of the group responsible for the February raid at the North Korean embassy in Madrid, visited Tokyo and met with the head of a local human rights activist group that same month, multiple sources told NK News this week.

Hong, a Yale graduate and a long-time North Korea human rights activist, reportedly visited the Japanese capital in his capacity as leader of the self-described "Free Joseon" group.
