Abe, Trump agree to meet ahead of U.S.-North Korea summit: White House

In Monday phone call, leaders reiterate calls for "complete dismantlement" of DPRK's nuke program

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and U.S. President Donald Trump have agreed to meet ahead of a potential June 12 U.S.-North Korea summit, the White House said on Monday.

Speaking over the phone earlier in the day, the two leaders reportedly discussed “recent developments in North Korea” and agreed to “continue close coordination” through another face-to-face meeting in the days leading up to the planned summit.
