Air Koryo gas station operating on Pyongyang riverside: photo

Picture confirms reports that state airline manages gas stations in North Korea's capital

North Korea's state airline Air Koryo is operating at least one gas station in Pyongyang, a photograph obtained by NK News reveals, providing evidence for claims that the company had entered North Korea's petroleum market this year.

The presence of the gas station, which is located on a southeastern bank of the Taedong River, further confirms that Air Koryo is making increasing efforts to diversify its revenue streams away from the air transport sector.
