North Korea wins third silver medal at Olympics Sunday

Kim Kuk Hyang wins North’s fourth medal in weightlifting, sixth overall in 2016

North Korea won its third silver medal of the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Sunday, the official website of the 2016 games showed.

Weightlifter Kim Kuk Hyang of North Korea won the silver medal in the women’s +75kg event. She lifted a 131 kg snatch and a 175 kg clean and jerk, for a total weight of 306 kg. Meng Suping of China won gold in the event with a total weight of 307 kg while Sarah Elizabeth Robles of the United States won silver with 286 kg.
