North Korea criticizes U.S. missile test, drones, exercises

Roundup of recent North Korean media coverage of U.S. military moves in East Asia

SEOUL – Joint U.S.-South Korean and U.S.-Japanese military exercises, the test flight of a supersonic drone, and the launching of a U.S. intercontinental ballistic missile are "hostile" acts, North Korean state media mouthpiece the KCNA said in a week of critical articles.

"Bunker buster" bombs were also cited by North Korean press as a provocative U.S. invention, designed to "destroy Iran's underground nuclear facilities." Iran's response to widespread criticism of its nuclear program is also becoming a regular target of North Korean reporting.
