SEOUL – North Korea has urged foreigners living in South Korea to prepare evacuation plans in the event of a war between the two Koreas in a statement by the DPRK Asia-Pacific Peace Committee, carried on North Korean television.
"In case war breaks out, we do not wish to see foreigners in South Korea come under any harm," Yonhap reported the official statement as saying. "Foreign institutions, businesses and tourists in Seoul and the rest of South Korea should consider evacuating in advance, and introducing measures for their own personal safety."
