SEOUL – North Korean units are awaiting orders to attack enemy targets in retaliation to any provocations – a threat that is not just empty rhetoric, a North Korean government organization said in a statement yesterday.
"[The U.S.-ROK command] are sadly mistaken if they misinterpret the present grave situation as a verbal confrontation just as they did in the past... The provocateurs will not be able to escape retaliatory blows at any moment," read the statement from the curiously-named Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea (CPRK) – a body of the ruling Korean Workers Party (KWP).
