North Korea’s “Pyongyang Racer” Video Game Is Unleashed

Koryo Tours release the first ever DPRK-produced online racing game - your chance to drive around the streets of Pyongyang.

Koryo Tours this week released a new online racing game callled Pyongyang Racer, produced in cooperation with DPRK IT outsourcing specialists NosotekAlthough describing it as a old skool style arcade game, the online racer actually features impressive 3D graphics and a pretty accurate mapping of North Korea's capital city, Pyongyang.

As one online review today explained, Pyongyang Racer looks "like a Sega Saturn game, if that Sega Saturn game was set in an idealized North Korea, devoid of people and filled with cars that are in the street."
