A South Korean man arrested last month for allegedly leaking military secrets was recruited by a suspected Chinese intelligence agent in 2017, according to ROK prosecutors, though it’s still unclear whether the Chinese operative was also working for North Korea. 

Military prosecutors indicted the 49-year-old civilian employee of the Korea Defense Intelligence Command (KDIC) on Tuesday, accusing him of selling military secrets, including lists of ROK military spies, around 30 times since 2019 for approximately $120,000.
