North Korea launched two “presumed short-range ballistic missiles” on Friday afternoon, South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) said, the third and fourth missiles that the DPRK has tested in the last two weeks.

The JCS said the missile launches were detected at 2:41 p.m. and 2:52 p.m. KST and flew approximately 267 miles (430 km), with a detected altitude of 22 miles (36 km). The missiles were detected flying northeastward after being launched from around the Uiju area in North Phyongan province, at North Korea’s northwest border with China.
