South Korean President Moon congratulates Biden, emphasizes ‘rock-solid’ bond

President-elect Joe Biden delivered a victory speech vowing to “make America respected around the world again”

South Korean President Moon Jae-in congratulated U.S. President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris on Sunday, stressing the “shared values” and “rock-solid” bond between the two countries.

Moon’s statement came just hours after major news organizations declared Biden the winner and the 46th president of the United States.
