North Korea’s ongoing extraordinary party Plenary Meeting will go on for a fourth day to consider an “important document,” official state media indicated on Tuesday, implying the outcome of the event may be contained within Kim Jong Un’s New Year’s Speech.

News of the extension was contained in a report which described Kim overseeing discussion of “diplomatic and military countermeasures,” for preserving the country’s sovereignty and security among other priorities.

Kim reportedly spoke for “seven hours” on Monday, discussing issues on state-building, the economy, and military, which were also similar to those of the second day of the plenum.
