The number of North Korean nationals working in Poland is now down to zero, according to a report submitted to the UN Security Council (UNSC) from Warsaw’s UN delegation this month.

The report, dated December 4, was sent in the final weeks before UNSC sanctions targeting overseas North Korean workers were set to take effect. The sanctions require all DPRK citizens working abroad to leave their host countries and return home.

Enforcement began on December 22.
