South Korean legislators are facing new pressure from civic activist groups to address South Korea’s lack of a North Korean human rights law.

On Tuesday morning, members from about 70 civic groups gathered in front of the National Assembly in Yeouido with “indefinite” plans to assemble every Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. until legislators decide to enact a North Korean human rights bill.
