North Korea and South Korea agreed on Monday to conduct working-level talks about hosting inter-Korean family reunions at the Panmunjom border village on Wednesday.

After a week of silence since proposing that family reunions should go ahead, North Korea suggested meeting with southern representatives on either Wednesday or Thursday this week.

The proposal came after South Korea suggested the family reunions should take place in the week of Feb 17-22 at North Korea’s Mt. Kumgang resort, a location Pyongyang suggested be used at a family reunion event cancelled at the eleventh hour last year.

“North Korea agreed to hold the
