North Korean leader Kim Jong Un met Chinese foreign minister Wang Yi in Pyongyang on Friday, vowing “support” for China’s territorial policies on Taiwan, according to state media.

The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported Saturday that Kim told Wang the DPRK “would fully support all the internal and external policies of the Chinese party and government for realizing the territorial integrity of the country on the basis of the ‘one-China’ principle and building a fair and just multi-polar world.” 

The ‘one-China’ policy refers to Beijing’s stated right of taking Taiwan by force if necessary, though China has not
